There were spacious bathroom and reasonably large room. The location was wonderful as for me, not far from Quinta Dos Bravos, the grocery store and Ribeira Grande.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Unforgettable experience there. Delicious and absolutely superb breakfast — good choice of meals. The room was amazing and tidy, the location was favourable. Location just off the magnificent sights on the island, the Azores over the past 6 weeks, and a stunning garden with many cozy areas to unwind.

The tour desk was so useful, I was able to plan my entire trip without lifting a finger. And the laundry facilities were a godsend, because who wants to do their own laundry on vacation, right?

Such a shame that they didn't offer helicopter rides, I had to settle for the pool with a view instead.

This place is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly; it is conveniently located to visit all the main attractions on the island.

We stayed in one of the rooms in the annex by the pool with only the sliding door for ventilation and the room got quite hot in the afternoon and into the night because the island was going through a bit of a heatwave while we were there and the glass doors face the setting sun. However, Rui was amazing and brought a fan into the room for us and he indicated that air conditioners for the poolside rooms were on order so this should not be an issue in the future. I also noticed a slight musty smell in the bedroom we were in, which bothered me some, but I have also come to expect that in very humid locations. Some of the patio furniture was looking a little weathered, but it was so nice to have so many different options for areas to sit in the garden and bugs were quite smitten with the pool, even when it was cleaned several times during the day.

The only thing we missed was a vibrant nightlife scene. As young party-goers, we would have loved to have more options for late-night fun and dancing.

We had a great weekend getaway in the countryside with a friendly host. The breakfast was freshly made with homemade cake and preserves. The room had posh toiletries and was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed. The large gardens were fantastic to relax in and there was a sun trap pool. The location was ideal for exploring the stunning surroundings and there was advice available on places to go and things to see.

The remote location made it difficult to get around without hiring a car or bringing your own transportation. Despite this, the hotel offered car rental.

Despite this, it was still centrally located, allowing for easy access to all main points of interest of the island within an hour drive. the rooms were exceptionally clean and well-decorated, with beautiful tile-work and fixtures in the bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight, with freshly baked sweet bread and a variety of savory options. the garden was large and tranquil, with a swimming pool and private seating areas.
